When at 15 years of age and falling head first on the back of the head cause enough damage to make a social mind go wrong or permantly anti-social, or scared of social enviroment?

  1. It's worth getting an evaluation by a professional [perhaps a GP first who will refer "the person" to a neurologist], to find out, specifically.  Any answer you receive on here will be general in nature.


  2. Traumatic brain injury can have devestating consequences, including changes in memory, personality, emotional lability, language problems; the list can be extensive and heartbreaking. While rehabilitation can help, these effects can be permanent, or may not show up for years. There is no way to predict or prevent the extent or effects of the injury after it has occured. Obviously, support specific to brain injury is critical and can help both caregivers and the person.
