what the heck could this be? last week had a light redish brown discharge, now this? what the heck? was tested for infection and none.

I'd say you're either pregnant or these are symptoms of your period coming up?

I think it's peri-menopause, the period of up to 10 years before menopause when you have changing hormones and problems as a result.
