Headache for a week?

so my moms been complaining about a headache for about a week now and she also said her throats hurts and coughs up blood. she went to the doctor and they gave her some pills but they aren't working. he doctor always just gives her pills, anyway she thought maybe it could be a migraine so i gave her some excedrin which works for mine and her headache never went away. does anyone know what it could be, or experienced these symptoms? should she go to the hospital? i've been telling her to go..

I guess you should just for the fact that she is coughing up blood , and her throat hurts as well which isn't normal . Please do take her to the hospital . Good luck to the both of you .
