sometimes i get these really bad headaches. but they only hurt on one side of my head at a time. it hurts behind my eye and kind of spreads to my forehead and temple area. both sides of my head are affected equally just not at the same time. one day it could be the right side, next it could be the left. the pain only lasts about 5 min. or so. then the pain goes away as fast as it came. can anyone help? are these what they call cluster headaches or something else?

  1. i have gotten those too. i usually put an ice pack on my head. and take advil. i also would get your eyes checked if you have not in awhile. also do you grind your teeth at night or tense up your jaw during the day. this will cause that type of pain.

  2. i have these kind of severe and short-lasting head aches at times too.. and believe it or not, it might be because of ur squinting or strainging ur eyes too must.. if u touch ur eye a lot or if u stare at a computer screen for more than say 45 minutes..

  3. It sounds like a migraine to me but I would go see a neurologist you never know! It's better to be safe then sorry but then again it can be from stress

  4. Headaches can be a sign of many problems. I would say go to a doctor, specifically a neurologist. They can help you no matter what kind of headache it is.
