Headaches and nausea @ end of pregnancy?

I am 38 weeks and 3 days pregnant and I have had issues with my blood pressure...I woke up last night with a headache @ 11:30 last night and it wasn't relieved by Tylenol...I also started feeling nauseous and I vomited a couple times... So basically I went to the hospital bc my bp has been an issue and they ran blood work (again) and basically gave me a vicodin and scheduled me for my induction this Friday.

Well that was 8:30 this morning, and now, after sleeping ALL day lol, I wake up with a headache and feeling nauseous....what should I do?

  1. It is very possible you are having your regular issues with Blood pressure but could also be dehydrated. Try drinking more clear fluids, resting more, watch your salt intake and see if it helps. If not, call your doctor.

  2. its normal. talk to your doctor if you become lightheaded

  3. Put your mind at ease and seek medical advise

  4. The head aches and nausea are most likely from the high blood pressure.. Good luck for Friday. Let us know how it all went. You will be in my thoughts. I thought I was going to go before you.. but it looks like I will be having a 42wk pregnancy..lol  All the best and get plenty of rest. You'll do just fine.. :)
