ive been getting a headache everyday for the past 2 weeks, it only really happens in the arvo. I went to the eye clinic and got my eyes checked out but he said that there is nothing wrong with them. My eyes have been really sensitive to light and sound is sometimes a problem. I just want them to stop. Do you think it could be that i get back and neck pain alot? Or could it be something else? 1. For your eyes, eat a lot of a very wide variety of bright colored fruits and vegetables inclusive of raw vegetables and green leafy vegetables.  These will provide you with vitamin A, which will help with your eyes tolerance to light.  Also spend some time per day in the sun without sun shades (eye glasses).  This is important for the production of vitamin D.

You may also take carotene supplements (Do not take straight vitamin A).

Your intolerance to sound could be as a result of a nerve disorder.  You might be deficient in the B vitamins.  In addition to getting these from your foods you might also want to supplement your diet.

Your head ache could be as a result of a number of factors like:

    constipation

    stress

    dehydration

    migraine

    lack of sleep

    tiredness etc.

Increase your consumption of water to between 8 - 10 glasses per day.

Eat shredded raw cabbage every day, along with other raw vegetables.

In case it's migraine, drink aloe juice.  I know of some good tasting aloe juices on the market.

Make sure you get 8 hours sleep every night.

  2. Recurrent headaches are cause of concern.  You should discuss this with your doctor.  With a new onset of recurring headaches, you should be evaluated and possibly have a CT scan of the brain to rule out anything more ominous such as tumors and such.  Sensitivity to light and sound are common with migraines, but a CT must be done to rule out other diagnoses first.  Call your primary doctor.
