  1. You should be able to do this by putting a section break at the end of the first page, then disconnecting the second section's headers and footers and clearing them out.  Unfortunately, I know how to do this in earlier versions of Word, but not with Word 2007.

For what it's worth, here are the steps I would use:

    1. Click at the end of the first page.

    2. Click the Insert->Break menu item.

    3. Click the Next Page radio button.

    4. Click OK.

    5. Put the cursor on the second page.

    6. Click the View->Header and Footer menu item.

    7. In the menu that pops up, click the Same As Previous button (usually fourth to the left of the Close button).  This will disconnect the header.

    8. Double-click in the footer and repeat step 7.

Now all you should have to do is delete the text in the second section's header and footer.

    Hope that helps.
