  1. Since you know how to put the header in, make sure it's right-aligned (I'm sure you were already doing that), and then rather than typing the '1' after your name, click the button on the Header toolbar that says "Insert Page Number". And there you go, everytime you make a new page, the number after your name will update!

  2. this is what u do

u appreantly know how to get to header and footer

so while in the header and footer mode, go to autotext and hit page

now delte the dashes and put ur last name next to with some tabs and bam ur done

  3. Try this:

    1. Click the Insert->Page Numbers menu item.

    2. Set the Position and Alignment text boxes to put the page number where you want it.

    3. Click OK.

To put any other text into the header, double click in the Header on the page and enter the text.  Double click outside the header, or close the Header and Footer pop-up menu to get out.

    Hope that helps.
