I want to find out the specific range of light when using headlights on high and low beam.

Australian Standards only requires low beam of 25 metres and high beam of 50 metres.

I am trying to find out what each manufacturer specifications are.

  1. Use what we use the the U.S., call either the motor vehicle department or the highway transportation department, one of them should be able to help you.

  2. Each model vehicle has its own headlight zone...The low beam lamps are adjusted at the factory to a certain angle based on the height if the lamps above the ground...They generally do not need re-adjustment unless there has been damage to the front of the vehicle...The Australian Standards specify the minimum range for headlights on low and high beam that manufacturers must comply with...Good low beams will illuminate the ground 40 to 50 meters in front...High beams should be parallel to the ground.
