Headofthebank headed for pairing the wins by taking away the Stadium Bookmakers Sprint at Oxford
The Stadium Bookmakers Sprint will be contested by Brittons Empire, Demesne Loopy, Headofthebank, Bright Denis, Power Charge and Smoke Fairy. They will contest for the £150 prize money at Oxford.
The most accomplished on the line-up is Headofthebank, Royal Impacy’s three-year-old black daughter out of b***h, Allaheadofyou.
Her seasonal race and success was in a Grade D1 250 metres flat at Oxford on 7th January. She won the race in 15.13 seconds and led the runner up, Rooney Special, by one and a half lengths.
Settling third behind the winner was Gogetemkate.
She was particularly successful in the last two months.
Headofthebank won a Grade D1 250 metres flat on 12th April at Oxford over 250 metres. The 2/1 favourite of the race timed the track distance in 15.04 seconds and led by 1 ¼ lengths.
Prima Facia settled as the runner up and completed the distance in 15.14 seconds.
Coming at terms with the third position was Easter Dolly.
Headofthebank paired up wins by winning a Grade A3 450 metres flat at Oxford over 450 metres. She was soon followed by the 3/1 joint favourite, Conduit, who completed the trip in 28.12 seconds.
Finishing third was Shared Time.
She missed the seasonal hat trick by ending fifth in the Stadium Bookmakers Sprint on 3rd May at Oxford over 250 metres. The race was won by Funworld Boy who timed the track distance in 15.24 seconds and led the runner up, Spearhead, by 3 ¾ lengths.
Headofthebank was entered as the 7/4 favourite and took 15.80 seconds to conclude the race.
Her most recent race was on 18th May, a Grade A2 450 metres flat at Oxford. She succeeded by settling the race in 27.28 seconds and taking charge of the final 4 ¾ lengths.
Finishing the closest was Adamant Yankee who timed the track distance in 27.66 seconds. Taking up the third slot was Silkmore Sunset.
If she keeps up with the consistency that she has shown for the last four races then there is nothing that will obscure her chances of winning the race tonight. Keeping up with the benchmark might as well get her the hat trick that she has been seeking out
for.
