I've owned an Envision L37W698 LCD TV for about a year and love it.
But, when trying to use my headphones, I plugged the 3.5mm audio cord into the "headphones" jack, the headphones work just fine, but the TV speakers go mute - in other words, I can't use headphones and speakers at the same time.
I can plug the 3.5mm plug into an RCA adapter and plug the red/white plugs into the "audio out" plugs on the TV. The headphones work, but the quality is poor (static, low volume).
The headphones are new and work perfectly on other TVs in the house. Any ideas?
