  1. a 3.5 millimeter jack is standard

  2. 3.5 mm is the normal headphone connecter, what you can use on your PC.

  3. its the standard  jack for headphones,,you cant go wrong really, all ipods and sound cards on pcs and most modern hifis

  4. 3.5mm Connection is the size of the plug on the end of your headphones. It is a standard size and they can be pluged into stereos, ipods, discmans, PC's etc etc. They will connect to your PC, plug them into the output in the back that the speckers are normally pluged into, i think it is normally green.

  5. Yes, a 3.5mm stereo connector is the same as the ones on your computer's soundcard (the green one that speakers plug in to).

  6. the 3.5mm connection is the plug on the end of the headphones which measures 3.5mm, or the socket the plug fits into. This is a "small" jack (there is also a 6mm connector, or a "large" jack")

  7. 3.5mm Plugs are the ones found in Ipods and most other MP3 players.

1/4 inch plugs are the larger type plugs normally found in larger units such as an A/V reciever.
