Question:

Headphones won't work when plugged in all the way?

When I plug my headphones part of my headset in all the way, the noise coming out sounds muffled in one side and the other side sounds fine. Then, I figured out that when I keep my headphones unplugged a little, the sound comes out of both sides fine. Would anyone know how to fix this problem?

  1. some jacks are mono and some are stereo if you use the wrong plug that could be your problem most cases anyway ...good luck

  2. Paerhaps the wires that connect to the jackpin are faulty (in the plastic/rubber part where the wires connect to the jack). This is mainly caused by bad unplugging of the headphones by just pulling the cable instrad of the jack. It may also be caused by winding the hadphones cable and using the jack to secure the 'knot'.
