Headshots with makeup or not?

Question

I'm getting professional headshots done for the first time. I'm an actor/singer, mostly stage, but some film. I've heard that for headshots, you should keep your makeup pretty natural, but I tend to wear eye makeup every day. Let me know which style of makeup would be better for my headshot.

A headshot should be you, if you dont wear blush then why put blush? if you dont wear eyeliner why put eyeliner? It should be a " everyday you" so if you were eye make-up everyday then put in your photo. Like people always tolled me, if your going to take a headshot it should represent on how you were going to be if you got an interview. So dont get a tan, because then its not your real skin color. I think the one with makeup. Also wear lipstick though. Probably a dark pink or mauve.

If you always wear makeup, wear it.  Go in as if you were going to an audition.  If you don't look like your head shot, they aren't going to like you as much.
