Question:

Healed shoes! Help, I can't walk!?

I never wear healed shoes, mainly because I look like a man in drag whilst trying to walk! But I bought a pair of jeans today which need heals with them, I need to wear them tomorrow night so I bought a cheap smallish pair of heals and I am worried I will look stupid tottering around in them!

Has anyone got any tips or a crash course in walking in heals comfortably and confidently!?

  1. practise at home defo , keep bum tucked in and at first, balance in the joint before your toe just to help you balance.

  2. try walking around your house with your heels. if they arent comfortable, dr.scholls makes little footpads for heels so theyre more comfy.

also have good posture.stand up straight and try walking with one foot in front of the other while taking big steps. not huge steps but bigger than normal steps.

    hope i helped [:

  3. Walk around the house in them today, and REALLY concentrate on taking large steps that look confident.

  4. Take small steps and walk on your toes rather than your heal. Practice around the house first so you don't do a faceplant! Bring extra shoes if you can, because your feet may be killing you by the end of the night...Good luck!

  5. Healed shoes?  Like, they had a disease that they've recovered from?

    It's called a heel...

Jeans don't "need" heels.  If you can't walk in them, don't.  Roll a small cuff on the bottom of your pants and wear flat shoes.
