Healing piercing process?

Question

I had my belly button pierced yesterday, and it feels really tight.

For example it hurts to stand up straight and i have also found that it is really itchy now.

Im really worried about getting an infection and i really like it.

Is it ok to be itchy and to feel tight?

What is to be expected during the healing process.

i've got mine done,

and at first mine did feel tight! and it hurt when i bent down, but i dont think it did when i stood up straight,

and it has never really been itchy
