Health Deteriorates and Brake Fails?

I wish to know if the person who is at the seat suddenly suffer's from Heart Strokes and the Brake Fails and alongwith there might family/children's sitting in it. I may be in CITY or on an Highway. In this position what should I do ?

Try and pump the brake pedal, put the transmission in drive 1, steering the vehicle to the side of the road, set the handbrake and then call 911.

grab the steering wheel and apply the emergency brake. This may take some effort if it is the pedal type. Down shifting (auto trans) will slow the car down some. manual trans you would have to get to the clutch to downshift.

P.S.   the chances of both things happening at once are practically nill.
