Hi,

I have had these strange bumps on my arms for about 3-4 years. They do not itch, they are not red, and they don't hurt. They're just THERE. At first, the bumps were only on my upper arm. They have begun to spread onto my forearms, and even my thighs. My mother has said it is because I don't scrub my arms with soap, but I do, EVERY NIGHT. So can ANYONE explain these mystery bumps, please?

A friend of mine said she used to have the same thing, but by using a neutrogena product, they have cleared up completely.

Help..?

  1. change your soap. it sounds like you may be allergic to regular soap. yes try the nuetrogena. if you can't affort it have your doctor write a prescription for it and that should cover the cost. "castille" soap is a generic version of neutrogena.-blurey

  2. Take an Aveeno oatmeal bath and or put Selsum Blue on it and let it dry on your arm over night. Do not put the selsum blue on every day though because i u do then it will burn your skin and make it brown and scabby like you put glue on your arm and it starts peeling but it your skin. If this occurs do not peel it or it will make a big light patch scar on. Just let it heal. Try cortizon or hydrocotizone or calamine lotion but the Aveeno oatmeal bath works good. I will go away eventually but it may take some time.
