I was studying the Human Skeleton..and I noticed that we have a kind of hard (feels like wood) piece/thing under the Sterum...does anyone know what that's called? It's really ticking me off cause I cant find a name for it!

It's right below the sterum, and when you push it, it kind of hurts!
