Health care charities?

I am a conservitiive and the idea of universial health care worries me as I beleive it will create a masivly huge beuracrasy that won't treat any one and the tax payer can't afford.

- so are there any charity that I can donate to in order to help people afford health care.

You're tired but try to come up wiht something reasonably coherent.  As it is the only question I see here is whether or not there's a charity in place to deal with issues in funding health care for those that can afford it, and while there are, these are mainly government programs and they cannot deal with anything major that occurs, or repeated visits in a short period of time, nor do they cover dealing with certain diseases.  I can agree with you that the beaurocracy isn't great and that the amount of funding for initiating the program would be massive at this stage, but I would ask you why you think it would not be worth it to move towards universal health care.  I'm not saying implement tomorrow, not even in a year or two from now, I'm saying way down the line, and modify the beaurocracy and infrastructure to make it more affordable and better managed.
