Health food stores in Brussels, know any?

Uptown Brussels : Ixelles

Rue Faider there is such a store. This street is perpendicular to the Rue du Bailli in the quartier du Châtelain near the Avenue Louise. When you come from the rue du Bailli, turn right into the rue Faider, the shop is on your left.

Sorry, but I forgot the name of it.

There is also one in Jesus-Eik, Overijse, on  the main road, somewhere near the Delhaize supermarket. When you come from Brussels, it is on the right side of the chaussée, after the Delhaize. It's an old villa that's been transformed into a health shop. You can park in front, there is a kind of parking lot.

EDIT : The one in Overijse/Jesus-Eik is on the Brusselse Steenweg. When you continue on the same road, follow the road signs for La Hulpe, pass the  old La Hulpe train station on your right (transformed into a Deli shop), turn left into La Hulpe's main shopping street you'll find another health shop there, on your left handside - between the townhall and the post office -.

Sorry I would give you the exact addresses of those 3 shops but I am not currently in Belgium.

The biggest one though is the one in Overijse.

Also, if you are interested in bio foods (dairy, fruit & veggies, breads, jams) check out the Wednesday afternoon (2 pm>>7 pm) open market on the Place du Châtelain in Ixelles. (coming from Avenue Louise, turn onto the 2nd street on your left -rue Simonis- and you have the Place du Châtelain right in front of you)Your heart will be happy and singing just seeing all the stuff they have on offer there. Not cheap though but of excellent quality.

The Sunday open market in Watermael-Boitsfort, next to the townhall)  is also worth a visit.

well when i travel and want to find one, i go to nowfoods.com. they have store that carry their product and they are usually a health food store, or go to wholefoods.com and check their locations. just search on the Internet or ask around if there's any you should be able to find one.
