How long does a pap smear test last?

I'm not sure of your question.  If you're asking how long does it take to have it done...it's a matter of seconds.  The doctor takes a q-tip type tester and swipes the inside of your uterus.  If you're asking how often should you have one...once a year.

It just takes a few minutes, maybe 5 or 6 at the most.

The test itself doesn't last very long at all 2-3 minutes and it is all over. Nothing to worry about
