Health insurance for geriatrics.?

My mom is going to be 64 years old in December and has being diagnosed with high blood pressure. She doesn't qualify for medicaid yet; which insurance company should I contact in Florida, so she can get an individual health insurance?

    But be prepared – it will be a huge monthly premium for that age. And with her hypertension in particular. However there are some limited plans are always around. We never know. Just try.  


  2. Try AARP.  They will insure most people, but she should be prepared to pay big bucks, cause everyone at that age has to pay more cause they are getting older and have health issues.

  3. I know of a great discount health company that accepts everyone and it is very affordable.  It isn't insurance but you can save up to 85%!  If your interested let me know.  I do hope you find something!

  4. get a health card..in new york they can give old people health card..they only pay 15 dollars for check ups..
