Health insurance!!!!!! i need help?

I'm needing stories about people that have been denied medical insurance. Why where you denied and was their a result because of being denied.

Most people are denied, because they try to buy the policy AFTER they already have a claim.

Health insurance is like buying the lottery ticket.  You have to buy the ticket BEFORE the drawing.  If no one had to buy health insurance until AFTER they needed to make a claim, well, the price would go THROUGH THE ROOF.  It's called "adverse selection".  

Same thing with car insurance.  If people could buy car insurance to cover an accident AFTER it happened, the only people who would buy it, would be the ones in the accidents, AFTER it happened!!

Just think about it.

I was not denied health insurance, but did not continue with insurance upon leaving employment with the US Postal Service.

I went with AmeriPlan instead. Even though Ameriplan is not health insurance, it does provide for significant discounts up to 80%, depending on the procedure. The monthly cost is also more affordable than health insurance.
