  1. Huh?...and doctors and hospitals will get money from trees?  If you don't have insurance then you pay unless you have NOTHING.  So, if you like having NOTHING then by all means....

  2. insurance companies will do or say anything so they dont have to owe anybody money but the fact is they have to pay no matter what because its there duty. When I worked doing claims I noticed that the thing with them is that they will try to stall things but theres always a way around the system once you get familiar with working everything. At some point, they will tell you they wont pay but they really have to pay you. You can trick it by changing the diagnosis code for example. They try to make obsticles but its not impossible to get past them and get yourself paid. Insurance is needed because you can get stuck owing thousands of dollars and you dont want to do that so it would be a bad idea to stop insurance. I dont think very many doctors are going to want to see people for free and we would have sick and dieing people. It also makes it possible for a person of low income to go to a place like the Emergency room and have there life saved. Insurance is a must have thing.

  3. You really don't get the same health care without insurance.  You have to go to E.R.'s to be treated much of the time and it can be extremely difficult to get medications needed, etc.  The U.S. in particular needs a new health care plan.  It's a mess.
