Health problem, help please?

Question

my mother is 52 yrs old, she suffered from severe pain in her knees, she went to see her doctor and he prescribed her this drug (Oflen-100 SR). and now she only takes one capsule a day for the past 9 or 10 days and she says that she has this strong pain her stomach ever since she started taking the drug.

Is the stomach ache a side effect of this drug and if it is what drug should replace it?

Honestly, this is something only her doctor can answer. She should talk to her doctor and should really stop taking this prescription.  If she can't make an appointment to see her doctor right away, she should at least call the doctor's office and let someone there know that she thinks she's having a reaction and plans to stop taking it.  They can then tell her doctor who will most likely let her know what she should do next. Any time you start a new prescription, you should tune in to your body and pay attention to any changes. I wish her luck!

if thats the side effects of drugs being taken, must to have medical consult for at least doctor can prescribed something for stomach reaction problems . such as fomopsin or lansoprazole. or drug being taken well be properly change.
