Healthy Calorie intake?

I weigh 164lbs (11.7 st) and am 5'3". I know Im overweight and have taken on a healthy eating plan with homemade soups, smoothies and healthy meals and have started a bit of exercise to shift some blubber lol! How many calories should I be consuming each day to achieve sensible weightloss? Thank yoo x

  1. Anywhere from 1000 to 1200 calories per day, along with exercise, and you should see the pounds come right off.  Good Luck!


  2. prop 1600-1800 a day, more if you excercise!

  3. Base this on your activity level (how much you exercise) and your BMI. 1000-1200 calories a day is DEFINITELY not enough. Check mypyramid.gov to calculate the amount of calories you should be eating daily.
