I need a fruit smoothie that is HEALTHY. Low fat, calorie, sugar etc.

Please, I love fruit smoothies. But I can't seem to find one that is healthy.

&& By the way, I don't like any smoothies that have to do with bananas.

And Also, I am looking for those fruit smoothies that are a bit thick. :)

  1. I never measure, but I like to add pineapple chunks, mango cubes and OJ.  Sometimes I'll add a dollup of vanilla yogurt.  It tastes very tropical, like a pina colada.  No need to add sugar.  Yum!

  2. add some fat free frozen yogurt vanilla or fat-free vanilla icecream with some frozen strawberrie and some OJ, put it in the blender and blend it. very good

  3. low fat yogurt, fruit, milk, blend them together, and yummy. or add some protein powder if you want to lose weight.

  4. I haven't tried this recipe yet, but it was on Oprah. It's extremely  healthy but it's not really a fruit smoothie.

    2 cups spinach

    2 cups cucumber

    1 head of celery

1/2 inch or teaspoon ginger root

    1 bunch parsley

      2 apples

      Juice of 1 lime

      Juice of 1/2 lemon

combine everything in the blender and it make three to four servings !

    hope this helps. :)

  5. Here are hundreds of recipes

         -- fresh, frozen or canned

         Peach slices, opt.

      2  ts  Wheat germ, optional

In blender or food processor, combine yogurt, peaches, mango, wheat germ, 1/4 cup orange juice and ice cubes. Cover and blend about 1 minute, or until smooth. Serve immediately, poured into tall glasses and garnished with peach or banana slices and sprinkled with 2 tablespoons wheat germ. [Karen's note: Methinks that they really meant "2 teaspoons wheat germ"]
