Healthy Lunch Ideas for a Picky Child

My son will be 12 on Sept 9th and will begin 6th grade.

He is very picky about food and likes junk. But want to send healthy food for lunch that he will eat.

He likes apples, carrots, ham, cheese, bread, pasta, chicken, meat.

anyone have simple healthy lunch ideas to send to school

  1. well for the meat part you can either make some chicken salad sandwiches (delicious) or go to your stores deli, and have your son pick what meat he likes such as turkey, chicken, ham, and whatnot......and you can use this meat on bread with mayonnaise....

    you can also if you want buy those specially packed apples with peanut butter


  2. Sliced red apples are good dipped in peanut butter. You can get canned chicken at the store you could put in a container. Good luck! Hope this helped!

  3. Make rolls with cheese and ham or anything other lunch meat he likes. You could even make them fancy by putting on little toothpicks to hold them together. You could add a tortilla around the outside.

    Peanut butter and apples.

    Celery with peanut butter and raisins.

    Cheese pull apart sticks.

    Pasta salads.

    Regular salads.

    low fat dressing with veggies, such as cucumbers and tomatoes.
