hi,

i am almost 19 years old and i have several health concerns. i am very active (2-3 hours of physical activity per day spread out throughout the day i.e. 1 hour of pilates, 1 hour of rollerblading, 15min-1hour walking). recently i have been having very low blood pressure (87/57) and chest pain which starts when i am active and stops when i sit and rest. i feel very light-headed especially in the evenings. i have involuntary jerks/movement in my arms and legs sometimes. my diet is VERY rich in protein, veggies and fruit. i really limit fat intakes (1tbs per day) and carb intakes (2 servings of carbs per day). what is wrong with me? anyone?

  1. I suggest you see the doctor for a good check up.  Chest pain is never usually a good sign.  Your blood pressure may or may not be a problem,If it is normal higher, this could be a symptom of something, my normal blood pressure is usually 80/60, but this is normal for me.  I think with your symptoms, you should really limit your physical activity until you see your doctor ASAP.  You are young and active, but this does not mean you couldn't have developed some condition or disease.  See your doctor now.....
