  1. This is a matter of opinion but from what I have read, it's best to follow some simple guidelines that you include into your current lifestyle. Don't completely change your diet all at once as it is harder to maintain the change than if you did it gradually.

    1. Don't skip breakfast, it is one of the most important meals of the day. If you can't eat early in the morning, try having a small yogurt or piece of fruit at first to get you started, as time goes by, you will probably find that you can start adding more, in small portions.

    2. Try to follow the RDA for fruit and vegetables i.e. it is recommended that you eat 3 - 5 fruits a day and 5 - 7 vegetable portions a day. A portion is about the size of your palm. (It is a lot). But perhaps trying to cut out things like potato chips etc with every meal and adding one or two portions of vegies a day / or a nice salad with every meal will also help.

    3. There are a lot of diets / lifestyle recommendations out there try some of these websites:

    www.helpguide.org/life/healthy_eating_...

    www.realtime.net/anr/10eattip.html

    www.eatwell.gov.uk

  2. If you're talking about the kinds of healthy foods well then, there is so much variety!!

    - Fresh fruits (on their own, fruit salads, on skewers, frozen)

    - raw vegetables for snack and cooked for meals

    - wholegrain breads and crumpets

    - low-fat yogurt

    - wholegrain cereals

and much more, you just need to keep a close eye out at the supermarket!! Hope this helps!
