Question:

Healthy herbal cigars/cigarettes?

As the lot of you know, tobacco is full of a lot of cancer-causing agents.

I enjoy a good smoke once in a while, but I don't do it all the time because of the health risk.

Why can't we make tobacco that is actually healthy for the lungs? Maybe it won't be the regular chew or anything, but it would be something to puff... some kind of chammomile plant. Maybe we could smoke tea leaves?

I don't know. But doesn't it sound like a good idea? And it would actually be GOOD for you lungs, and may even be used to reverse the damage of a mainstream cigarette.

Now, you might be thinking that it's a little dense of me to be posting up such great entrepreneurial ideas on the internet.. for the taking. But I've come to the conclusion that I'm such a lazy person that someone else should take the idea and run with it if they get the urge, because honestly, I'm just sooo lazy. I wouldn't take the time to patent it.

Anyway, thoughts and opinions? :D

Thankssss.

  1. Grow your own tobbacco. Or smoke some horrible herbal smoke that will take like s**t. Or cannabis is better than tobacco, smoke that!

  2. I think that smokers could use it.

  3. It's the addiction to the nicotine and not the cigar or cigarette itself... people have tried to immitate nicotine in gum and other products that resemble cigarettes, but by what I've seen a majority of people do not like the immitation products.

I don't think that we'd be successful in creating an herbal substitute if we can't even get people on something a bit less harmful like the gum.

  4. Any kind of smoking involves sucking smoke into your lungs. Smoke turns your lungs black slowly at the very least. I really doubt there will ever be a smokeable herb that won't be bad for you. Maybe something involving steam will become mainstream and might be actually good for you. I'd much rather do that.

  5. A healthy cigarette is an oxymoron. A deadly oxymoron.

  6. Hey, why not. Only thing cigarette companies wouldn't like about that is there's no addictive aspect of such a thing to keep people coming back for it. I might do something like that, well atleast try it once.

  7. It's impossible to make the inhaling of smoke healthy. By definition, if you burn something into smoke, it breaks the molecular chains into free radicals, which cause cancer. Now, a vapor, on the other hand would work, but there's no feasible way to make a cigarette that vaporizes that I know of. Hookah, at least is extremely low in tar and cancer-causing agents. Try hookah. Bottom line, though: smoke itself, regardless of whether or not it's tobacco smoke, causes cancer, because of the free-radicals (broken molecule chains).

  8. I appreciate your entrepreneurial spirit, but it's already been done and no smoke in your lungs is healthy.  I prefer the "herbal" one as well.

  9. your lungs were made for the absorbtion of life-necessary oxygen. The inert  and or neutral gasses also in ordinary air are harmless.

there will never be a healthy cigarette Smoke being taken into the lungs is never healthy and will forever be a health risk.

  10. I am pretty sure you can get herbal cigarettes. The only reasons smokers buy cigarettes is because they are addicted to them. Where's the market in non-addictive, non-euphoric drugs? Inhaling smoke isn't really healthy, it doesn't matter too much what you're burning.

  11. SALVIA!!!!
