Healthy lunch items to pack for school?

I need things I can pack for my school lunches that are nutritious. I am not trying to lose weight, I am trying to eat healthy.

Sandwich ideas, other snacks to eat along with it?

Please be as specific as possible. Stuff you can get at the grocery store.

  1. try a turkey wrap on spinach or tomato tortillas with turkey lettuce and tomato. you could also eat an apple with it


  2. A few good ideas for sandwiches:

    -For a peanut butter and jelly, use strawberry jam and then actually add strawberries and bananas to your sandwich. This way you get some fruit along with the protein from the peanut butter.

    -For a turkey sandwich, add salsa instead of mayo. The salsa is a healthy vegetable and has far less fat.

    -If you like cheese sandwiches, add sliced fresh tomatoes.

    -Always use whole grain wheat bread!!!

    Also remember to pack lots of fruits and veggies. A salad with low-fat dressing is always great. Try and get creative with some wraps on wheat tortillas if you want a little extra flair with your lunch.

  3. I would have some pork chop with vegetables, banana, apple some oats.
