Hello, i would like to have more ideas on packing a lunchbox for her. She is working tomorrow while i'm at my off day so basically i would like to pack her a meal something healthy, simple, budget and romantic. I told her about it and shes very looking forward, LOW FAT, LESS CALORIES BUT TASTE GOOD. I quoted. I'll do the planning and no menu will be given to her, i said to her. It will remain as a mystery till tomorrow for her. I do have some ideas on my mind. Sandwiches seems to be the most common, anymore creative ideas to share with me?

  1. try chicken salad wrap(look online for a low fat recipe) and maybe some baked lays and maybe 2 little chocolates(for a treat) and put a red rose in the lunchbox:)

  2. Make or buy  a whole grain crust, stuff it with mushrooms, onions, cheese, etc. Fold over into a half-pie, calzone looking thing. Dampen edges, press with a fork, trim. Bake at 400 for 10-15 minutes. Yum! Anything cut into a heart shape.  Anything creamy, puffy, fruity.

    Have fun!

  3. Send her a pizza.

My boyfriend packed my lunch and I was soooo busy I didnt have time to open and he wanted to konw how I liked it, so I lied and told him it was great.  I found out later he stuck a note in it.  It was no big deal since all he said was "have a nice day"  Kind of stupid.

  4. What ever you pack in the lunch include a note about how much your missing her and what is waiting for her when she gets home.

  5. well. my favorite lunch is the spirally pasta with grilled chicken and caesar dressing. you could also add croutons, and other vegetables she likes. then some of her favorite dessert (a little slice of cake or a brownie or whatever). It's healthy, but still delicious. Also write her a little romantic note on her napkin. It's adorable!

  6. The Kroger near me has a wonderful Olive Bar.  You could get some fresh hummus & pita chips;  stuffed grape leaves;  tabboleh (sp?);  kalamata olives and a piece of baklava....  With a cute little love note from you:)

  7. Is she meat eater or no?I take tortilla shells and cover completely w cream cheese then I add piece of ham or turkey...if she doesn't eat meat than you can do cucumbers peppers

    lettuce tomoato and wrap.

At winn dixie you can buy cups of fresh cut fruit and i would add a little cup of chocolate dipping sauce marzettis has it in the fruit case. They also have cream cheese based one too ..very nice. You could also cut strawberries and she can dip those in the chocolate.
