What are some healthy small snacks for after school?

  2. Well...I don't go to school anymore, but after work I usually have a bowl of fresh fruit in season and a bit of cheese. I am particularly fond of Gruyères cheese, but any kind of real cheese is good.

    In season for the summer in my area are fresh cherries, grapes, and melons. In winter I usually go for apples or pears.

    I like wine with mine, but being that you are probably not yet of age, try grape juice instead. Its VERY good for you.

  4. A small handful of nuts or seeds and a piece of fruit Or a bunch of grapes and an oz. of cheese. Or a  bowl or Cheerios with nonfat milk and a small banana or half a large. Some carrot and celery and other raw vegetables and some dip made from low fat yogurt.  Or Some fruit flavored low fat yogurt and some healthy graham crackers.The bottom line is a little bit of protein and a little bit of carbohydrates.To satisfy you until dinner.
