I am 16 and trying to eat healthier and my mom keeps talking about how you should stop eating at 7 because any time after that, it sits until the next day.

Well, my mom does not cook until 7 or 8 o clock, so I do not get done eating until 9.

Plus, that means I snack from lunch until 9 oclock at night and I usually always go over my daily calorie limit.

What healhy snacks can I eat? I usually eat breakfast at 11 and lunch at 2. Thanks.

  2. i'm 15 and i've been eating healthy and exercising

and actually lost alot of weight in the past 3 months!!!

eating at 8, 9 o' clock is not bad its when you wake up in the middle of the night and eat a half a gallon of ice cream!!!!

just make sure to eat a good breakfast cause then you wouldn't be hungry until lunch and it will carry on through the day.

then you probably wouldn't be snacking all day.

    well....

some good snacks are rice cakes with some peanut butter,

    Special K waffles,

    popcorn,

    an apple,

    Kashi cereal,

    pretzels,

but your best bet is fruit!!!!!!

    pineapple is my favorite!!!!!

    don't worry so much.

    'cause...

    well for me

when you limit yourself too much

or become obsessive you are more likely to crack

and end up eating a gallon of ice cream in the middle of the night!!!!!!!

which is not the best thing.....

    just use your common sense!!!!1

  3. YAY!! I'm 16, too!! =D

There are many items are grocery stores which are fat free and sugar free

    there's the sugar free Jell-O

sugar free AND fat free pudding from Jello-O, too.

fat free pretzels and sour dough bread.

    fat free crackers

yogurt it has a 3% fat percentage but there are kinds which are .1% which is really great

fruits are really good, forget apples and bananas, make a fruit salad, some pineapples, some grapes, berries maybe! whatever is in the fridge and pour half a cup of your favorite juice over them.

you can also have those little carrots and baby corn and dip them in fat free ranch dressing, it's really good!

there are also many changes you can make to your diet that are really easy to do, like using cooking spray (fat free) instead of oil and organic brown sugar instead of refined sugar, it is digested slowly and has less calories than refined sugar, even diabetics can use ORGANIC brown sugar without worrying!

anyway, don't go too harsh on yourself!

those things i said are good and healthy!

    good luck =D

  4. Handful of almonds, fruit, fresh veggies, fat free cottage cheese & whole wheat crackers, or sugar free yogurt.

  5. string cheese,granola bars,cereal bars,poptarts,crackers

  6. If you are about to start school again, this will help you get back into regularly-scheduled meal times.  Good snacks would be fresh fruit, low-fat cheese and crackers, a few almonds (watch the amount; nuts can be fattening), or pita wedges and hummus. Evening snacking is okay, just don't overdo it and choose wisely.

  7. fruits,veggies

there are alot of healthy snacks.

do some on line looking, try  typing in healthy snacks into the search button. or google healthy snacks.

  8. Well.... you can eat: dried fruit and nuts, granola bars, fruit and grain bars, if you snack on lettuce before you eat dinner, it helps burn twice as many calories, well if you eat it before any meal it helps burn what you eat after that. :)
