Healthy snacks?

I've changed my diet a lot lately. I'm not on an actual DIET but I've changed the foods I eat. I'm getting bored with the same ol' things all the time, so I need some help or ideas. I'm going grocery shopping on Saturday and I need some ideas for snack foods or dinner foods is fine too. Ideas, receipes, anything would be wonderful.

  1. yoplait light yogurt

    baby carrots

    whole wheat english muffins

    100 calorie packs

    instant oatmeal (low calorie and filling)

    rice cakes

    Fresh fruit


  2. you can buy for snacks ricecakes, saltines,carrots,nuts,popcorn,hotdogs, eggs and can eat sandwiches on wheat bread only.

    Dinner can be like salads, tv dinners the healthy kinds, salmon, skinless chicken,...i dont know if this helps but those are ideas. :D

  3. I don't know what this is, but my uncle used to buy these spicy crackers that are like, italian, and a cube of cheese and slice it, so when up put the cheese on top of the cracker, it's like, you're in heaven!

  6. Congrats to you for changing your diet for the better!  

    A few great things to snack on that are low in fat and carbs that I have found filling are baby carrots or carrot sticks and pepper sticks(just chop up a green, red, yellow or orange pepper).  I don't prefer to eat them plain, so keep the calories in check by mixing half light ranch dressing half fat free plain yogurt.  I love the taste of the dip!

    Also, I make a mixed berry smoothie when I am feeling like grabbing a candy bar!  Here's what's in it:  1/2c fat free plain yogurt, 1/2c milk, frozen mixed berries(however much you prefer, I usually do about 1 cup), 2 Tbsp honey and a small banana.  Sometimes I leave out the banana.  Mix in a blender or smoothie maker till smooth, sip and enjoy!

  8. Nuts and fruit together make a good snack. Spaghetti made with Ground Turkey (I'm guessing you're not a vegetarian?). Chili made with Ground Turkey. Watermelon, all fruits really. Blue Corn Chips with Salsa.
