Healthy to be going to the bathroom alot?

I've heard that having occasional bowl movements are good. But i've been having to pee like once every 4 hours, and when i do, not alot comes out. That is strange because i only eat two (belly filling) meals each day.The situation might have to do with the cereal i eat. I've been breakfasting on the Total cereal. It has very good nutrition, and might be why my bathroom visits are frequent.

    3 grams of dietary fiber and you have to go once every 4 hours?   Nope, not the issue.

    Personally, I'd actually suggest you try eating more fiber, it slows down your digestion.  

    Other than that, look at what else you're eating/drinking.  For example, if you drink beer a fair amount, chances are highly likely you will be urinating more often.  

    Same if you exercise quite a bit, or if you drink a large amount of fluids.

    Other than that, just make sure it isn't psychological, if you feel the urge to urinate, try waiting and seeing if it goes away.  (Obviously not to the point of being uncontrollable).  

    Other than that, it is possible you have a physical impairment, but that's far more unlikely, and isn't worth checking out if you're in no immediate inconvenience.

I don't think urinating has anything to do with your eating habits.  I think it has more to do with the amount of liquids that you are consuming.  If you drink more liquids...you will urinate more.  Anyway, I go more than every 4 hours.  That sounds like a long time between urinating.  You probably should be drinking more water.

  3. it's bowel...and if you eat fiber every day, you go...but the peeing is different..you might be diabetic...(or drinking a lot of caffine, which is a diuretic.)

  5. Whole grain cereals will make you p**p more often. Is this a p**p or pee question?
