  1. Breakfast entree

    1 cup onions diced

    2 tab oil

    1 1/2 cup dry lentils

    3 1/2 cup water hot

    cook the lentils till done

    3 tab ground flax seeds

    3 tab soy sauce

3 tab nutritional yeast or brewers

    2 tab sage

    1/4 tsp cumin

    1 tsp garlic powder

    saulte onions.

    cook lintels till done.

mix together and pruee all till smooth

put in cassarole dish and chill crumble when chilled and fry it like liver pudding.

    for the adventure

now add 8 tab of pureed garbanzos (1 can garbanzos pureed)  and soft fry till done like it was eggs and liver pudding. both ways are wonderful eating and for the person who likes sosage the sage flavor and salt will make it taste good. not like sosage but wonderful.

  2. What about muffins??  You can add flax to muffins.  I also add it to oatmeal.  You can also make whole wheat pancakes with flax in them.  Just make sure if you are buying the seeds, and not the meal, that you grind them up really well.

  3. I make up a little container of plain yogurt, berries, banana, honey and ground flax seed for my breakfast. You can take it to work and eat it when your ready. Add granola, goji berries, dry fruit or whatever gets you going... yummy!!!

I like to put blueberries specifically for their antioxidant properties.

  4. Flax seeds are great on anything.  For breakfast I put them in oatmeal, soy yogurt and rice cereal.  I've also ground them up to use a part of the flour in baking recipes and you can do the same for pancakes or muffins.  Sprinkling them on salad or any other food is a good idea as well.

  5. Just eat them straight up with a spoon, yummy =)

  6. You can mix them into muffin batter, pancake batter, waffle batter, yogurt, oatmeal, bread dough, cereal, coffee cake batter, and about any other breakfast food.
