Healthy ways to gain weight?

I'm a 22 year old female. I'm 5'10" and very skinny due to me having Celiac Disease and my body hasn't been absorbing nutrients properly. It's also caused me to become anemic.

Excluding most grain products like cereal, pasta and bread (because I can't have them due to my diet), what can I eat to gain back some weight and beat the iron deficiency problem?

Even just 10 more pounds would be perfect. I look gaunt, anorexic though I eat well and my hair has been falling out. I've been eating lean meats, oatmeal, and lots of fruits and veggies.

  1. brewing yeast. It has a lot of vitamin B, too. It will make you gain

weight in a week. Either buy at pharmacies, as supplement, or in any

place which specializes in brewing. Three pills a day/three tablespoons a day - depends on the product, and you are there. Good for bones and hair as well.

  2. First of all you need your iron back.. get yourself some iron supplements coupled with Vit B's and Zinc.  (Vit B's & Zinc help with the development of haemoglobin) You need to boost up your immune system.  You also need some carbs'  You can buy lots of gluten free products at health food stores these days.  Good luck!!

  3. to gain weight eat fats and vegetables and fruits

  4. your diet may not be balanced.  make sure you take vitamins to supplement your daily intake.  as for iron deficiency, eat red meats because they contain high amounts of iron.  check with your doctor to make sure your anemia is not due to something else such as pernicious anemia, bleeding, etc.
