Heaphone to RCA cables?

I wanna hook up my Logitech PC speakers to my TV with 3.5mm headphone to RCA cables. Will there be a loss of quality, and could this blow my speakers?

The headphone socket has a low level output of about 0.2W

when connected to the line input on your amplified speakers it should not overdrive them. The distortion will be higher than headphones, because it is the combined distortion of the TV's amplifier and the powered speaker's amplifier.

There shouldn't be a loss of quality, but you shouldn't turn it up too high.

i don't think there would be a loss of quality.  It definitely wont blow your speakers
