Would like some examples of really cool experiments run by the media.

the washington post did a very cool one - joshua bell, one of the best classical violinists to ever live, posed as a street music player in a DC metro station at rush hour.

almost nobody noticed his amazing quality of playing, showing very clearly how americans become philistines when blinded by work.

are there any other great projects/cool articles like this?

  1. Sometimes what is more amazing is what the media do NOT do.

Very recently a news item for the USA of quite remarkable proportions was deliberately ignored by the media.

What they are doing is what the media often does and that is to CONTROL the public’s thinking.

    The story withheld….

“The Escape Of The Heretical Two”

The Crown Court in Leeds, England convicted two British men on so-called “thought crimes” who then skipped bail, took a ferry to Ireland and then a direct flight to Los Angeles and have now claimed political asylum in the USA. Since July 16, 2008 the ‘Heretical Two’ are sitting in the Santa Ana Jail waiting for their political asylum case to be heard. There is no precedent for this. This is the first ever case of its kind, that is if you don't count the Mayflower.

Yet the US media cover it up.
