I know the state of men's tennis in Britain is bad but surely not that bad. Is this true?

  1. Did the radio say number seven what, surely not tennis player.

  2. no

  3. I can certainly believe it...British tennis is TERRIBLE at the moment..murray is the only player with any real hope of anything...

  4. It can't be true, he's retired

  5. It is true,  could b worse -Greg Rudseski then it would b bad.  At least Henman was capable of winning tournements.

  7. That is because we only have 4 players, including women and I am ranked number 5, you could be number 6 and Timid Tim Seventh!!!!!

  8. Maybe its done on some sort of points system, so even though hes retired he's accumulated enough points to still be on the leader board ?

  9. Yes Dan it's true.

Tim Henman is the 7th ranked Tennis announcer in England. Oh what. Hold on. There are only 6 including Tim. Let me recheck that.

    Just kiddin'

actually I wonder which will reach the bottom first Lee Childs, Tom Rushby or Sir Tim. The race is on. 3 retired players in the Top 17 of British players that is worse than the US Tennis situation. Jeebzus.

  10. It's because he still has a world ranking. When he retired his ranking wasn't removed (like it was with Henin's) though I don't know why. As his ranking continues to slide down into the hundreds he will still remain a highly ranked British player because it's still higher than most British players currently on the circuit.
