Hearing a radio station on my new phone?

Hi, I just got a new phone for christmas from one of my parents friends when she traveled to the states. I discouvered that when i turn my volume up high I sometimes hear music when their is silence even when checking my voicemail and after it says good bye i hear a radio station. should i worry about this or can my conversations be heard from other people by the radio. thankyou very much. There is nothing to worry about, some phones pick up radio stations sometimes, no one is listening to your conversation, if u have a maintenance plan with your local phone company u can call them. They usually install a radio suppressor that will get rid of the music in most cases. u can check the site below for more useful information about phone lines. Good luck.

  3. If you are hearing an AM radio station (playing rock, Bach or whatever they pedal), it isn't anything to worry about. Modern products lack the necessary filtering to eliminate interference from strong signals (like a broadcast station). I assume that another phone connected to the same line does not pick up the music.

    The fact that you can hear a broadcast station doesnt mean that the people at the radio station can hear you. Of course if this is a cordless phone, these can be listened to on a scanner if they are not spread-specrum or digital.
