Question:

Hearing in my left ear?

why isn't it as good as my right ear?

i've tried mutiple tests with my headphones, and i'm sure my left ear isn't as good as my right

is it normal?

  1. in some people one ear may be stronger than the other just as your eyes see slightly differently or one foot could be a touch smaller than the other. you are usually not perfectly symetrical. sometimes in early childhood you may have sustained some damage from an ear infection.you may have slight hearing loss in one ear from blowing a plugged nose too hard. it could be wax build-up which the doctor can drain or too many decibals of sound. if it bothers you and there is a marked difference between good and bad ears have the doc. take a look. it might be something he can fix.


  2. You need a hearing test.  Are you listening to music at high decibels?  If so, you may have damaged your hearing.  But have it checked to be sure.  Sometimes a wax build-up in the ear can decrease your hearing in one ear, but have it checked to be sure something else is not going on.
