  1. heart palpitations for me started when I was extremely overweight, basically i changed my diet, started eating really healthy, and exercised every day and it went away.

  2. I developed cardiac arrhythmia's after a work injury, I also developed a neurological disorder at the same time which essentially left me awake for 20-22 hours of the day. Have you been evaluated by a cardiologist yet. Has your Dr. even investigated you or sent you to a cardiac electrophysiologist? What beta-blocker are you on?  Are all your electrolytes (including calcium and magnesium) within normal limits. Have you had a heart attack in the past? There are antiarrthymic drugs that they can  prescribe but only a cardiologist should be doing this.  Ask your Dr.if your dose of beta-blockers can be increased.  What is your heart rate right now.?  Take your pulse and post it and I'll check back mine stopped when I finally slept Has your Dr. given your palpitations a name? Are your palpitations."premature" or are they "ventricular escape beats" That was why I asked you to post your hear rate. One arrythmia is premature the other one can occurr when your heart rate goes too low.  You should talk to your Dr. about a referral to a cardiac electrophysiologist.  Their specialty is cardiac arrthymias because there are more options available to you than meds.
