Heartburn Disease?, Is chest pain is related to heartburn as well?

It's 4 months that I have heartburn,I regularly feel pain on my stomach & severe pain on my chest, I have contact many doctors, but in our area, doctors are not so much accessed with new tools, and I used many kind of Antacid and pills, I got a little fine on stomach but now I have very severe pain on my chest and back & my right shoulder, so please advice what to do to cure my chest pain?

  1. You may have an inflamed Gallbladder or a Gallstone. It will make you think you are having a heart attack, and the pain radiates at times to the right side and to the back. It will give you indigestion and a bloated feeling. Have your Doctor order an Ultra Sound to check the Gallbladder. Stay away from fried foods, chocolate with peanuts, caffeine sodas, and coffee. You don't say how old you are, but heart problems can also not only cause you chest pain, but also back pain, like if you have a blockage. There is nothing new about Ultra Sounds and Tread Mill, so you should go back to a Doctor and insist they run these tests. There is nothing new about an Endoscopy where they put you in a twilight sleep and go down inside the stomach and esophagus to take a look see like for an ulcer or a hiatal hernia in the esophagus, or sometimes the esophagus need stretched, or have an infection. You could also have a spur on your spine that will cause your chest to hurt especially when you sit back against a chair.   2. Sounds like gastric reflux disease (GERD) and hiatal hernia ( a kink and a pocket in the esophagus).  Try Prilosec (omezaprole).  You can buy it over the counter. It is the best acid blocker.  It's not like a typical antacid like Tums, which just absorbs the acid.  Prilosec actually blocks the body from producing too much acid to begin with.

    Anyway you should see a gastroenterologist.  They specialize in this and can really nail down the cause instead of trying different pills to see which works.

    If your medical care is limited, try these tips.

    Don't eat for 4 hours before bedtime.

    Sleep with your head and upper body elevated.  Put a 4'' block of wood under the head of your bed.  Use extra pillows.

    Avoid garlic, especially in those 4 hours.

    Avoid spicy foods.

    Avoid caffeine in those 4 hours.  Reduce it at other times.
