  1. Here are two natural remedies that are widely believed to be effective:

    1. DGL (Deglycyrrhizinated Licorice) tablets. Slowly chew two tablets before  meals and at bedtime. Reduce your dosage once your symptoms are under control.

    2. Slippery Elm Lozenges. The can heal irritated digestive tract tissues.

See the source below for more natural remedies:

  2. capsicum~red pepper capsules found in health food stores~many people I know tried & has success! Best Wishes! Oh, also find a good "digestive aid" in capsule form at the health food stores! AND capsicum does feel "hot" inside your body but it has been told to me (by people that have tried it) that it heals several things too like ulcers.

Slippery Elm is good for your colon~if ya know what I mean, but it does have some healing properties as well.

  3. Try some slippery elm. the powdered form does not mix well with water but it does the job nicely even if it is lumpy...LOL

in tablet form it is not nearly as effective.

I am thinking that perhaps if you mixed it in honey then warm water it would dissolve much better.

Surprisingly a Medical Dr told me to use this for the acid burn in my throat.

hope that you found this helpful! Cheers!!
