  1. i heard that eating an apple helps.

    you know the old clique' "an apple a day keeps the doctor away"? most of these old wives tails have some truth to them.

  3. Give this a try, it worked  well for my wife:

    Ginger Tea

    Ginger is another centuries old remedy used within Asian culture as it

    has numerous healing properties. Since its introduction into western

    society, many heartburn sufferers swear by the fact that drinking just

    one cup of ginger tea will give them immediate relief from their

    heartburn.

    Again, ginger tea is very simple to make yourself. Just put 1 1/4 to 2

    teaspoons of freshly shredded ginger in a cup and add boiling water.

    Let the ginger steep for around 10 minutes. Next, strain the mixture

  7. Go see a doctor it may be a more serious condition. Heat burn may lead to ulcerations in the mucosa of the esophagus. If its really bad it maybe caused by a more serious underlying condition. If there is interferes form that section the pyloric sphincter (the valve which lets food into your stomach) many be affected.     avoid heavy starchy foods and spicy foods.

    drink lots of water.

    eat smaller meals more often rather than big meals.

    lie on you side, especially left, when you go to sleep to prevent reflux.

  14. When you get this problem use a level teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda mixed with plain yogurt or anything which will help you to ingest the bi-carb.

    If you want to prevent a recurrence, buy Activia yogurts tomorrow and have one or two tubs every day.
