A heat engine follows the cycle shown in the figure*. a) How much net work is done by the engine in one cycle? b) What is the heat flow into the engine per cycle?

  1. The net work is the area inside the rectangle. The heat flow is the area of the larger rectangle. You will have to convert m^3-atm into joules (or whatever energy units you want to use).
